Armenia-Iran “Navasard” festival on food and culture

Armenian- Iranian Food and culture festival named “Navasard” was held on Aug. 10 -11 in Sisian city of Syunik province in Armenia. Armenian and Iranian foods, handicrafts and artworks were presented by more than 100 participating stands.

Films, folklore music, dance and songs were performed in the sidelines of the festival. More than 10,000 visitors from Armenia, Iran and foreign countries visited the festival during two days.

The festival was organized with the cooperation of: Armenian Tourism Federation, “Preservation & Development of Armenian Culinary Tradition “NGO, Tourism committee of Armenian Ministry of Economy, Syunik Provincial Government, Sisian Municipality, Iranian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, Embassy of the I. R. of Iran in Armenia, Cultural center of Embassy of the I. R. of Iran in Armenia and the Mining Complex of Zangezur.
